Partner, Solicitor

Katharine Forde qualified as a Solicitor in 1996, having trained in the firm, becoming a partner in 2000. 

Katharine has extensive experience representing private and commercial clients in dealing with a variety of litigation matters, to include commercial disputes, banking litigation, civil litigation and family law matters.  

Katharine also has long standing experience acting in complex matters for persons with impaired capacity.   As a result of this work Katharine has recently been appointed to the Decision Support Services Panel to provide assistance to the Court as a Decision Making Representative.

Rita qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 having trained in the firm, becoming a partner in 1996.

Rita has extensive experience in the leasing, sale and financing of commercial property, commercial agreements, disputes and corporate matters.  Rita also works extensively in the area of estate planning,  the administration of estates and has acted as a Court appointed administrator and an independent expert in probate matters.

BComm LLB, Solicitor

Peter Kelly qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and joined the firm in 2006 becoming a partner in 2018. Prior to joining the firm he worked in house for a large insurance company providing advices on all aspects of insurance to include indemnity issues as well as defending claims on behalf of the insurance company. 

Peter has 20 years of experience acting for clients in all areas of litigation.  His approach is to provide practical advice in a commercially sensible manner.  Peter has acted for clients at all level of the court system from the District Court to the Supreme Court for both private clients and large institutions.

BCL, Solicitor

Joanne Bailey qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 having trained in the firm, becoming a partner in 2018.

Joanne has extensive experience dealing with the sale and purchase of both residential and commercial properties, commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters.  In addition, Joanne works in the area of Wills, EPAs and the administration of estates.

Trainee Solicitor

Alla Fogheli graduated from University College Dublin in 2017 with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Law. Alla joined A.C. Forde & Co. LLP in January 2018 and is currently training as a Solicitor with the Firm and is due to qualify in 2025.
